Hmm... how could Federationists use this money?
Student division running programs, maybe?  Sports &
Recreation Division programming, perhaps?  Such a
program would easily work towards better health, allow
for outreach, and show a positive aspect and truth of
blindness, all at the same time.  Not too shabby an
opportunity, here.  ;-)

Running
Programs for Children

The Saucony Run For Good Foundation (

 a grant program designed to encourage active and
healthy life-
 styles in children, is now accepting applications.
Saucony, Inc.
 ( http://www.saucony.com/ ), a subsidiary of the
Stride Rite
 Corporation (
http://www.strideritecorporation.com/home.asp ),
 is a global supplier of performance athletic footwear
and apparel.

The grants are open to nonprofit organizations that
initiate and
 support running and fitness programs for kids.

Eligible applicants are programs that target kids 18
years of age
 or under, have 501(c)(3) status, and can demonstrate
positive
 impact in the lives of participants through their
increased
 participation in running.
