World Affairs Council of New Hampshire Members and Friends:

We have two June events we hope you will attend - reports from both of New Hampshire's incumbent members of the U.S. House of Representatives.

1. U.S. Representative Paul Hodes, representing NH's 2nd District, will be speaking at a World Affairs Council luncheon on Monday, June 9th, at The Common Man in Concord. Seating for this luncheon will begin at 11:30; Congressman Hodes will begin speaking as close to noon as possible. Mr. Hodes will be leaving for the airport shortly after 1:00 pm.

2. U.S. Representative Carol Shea-Porter, representing NH's 1st District, will be speaking at a World Affairs luncheon on Friday, June 13th, at the Auditorium at the University of New Hampshire's Manchester campus (in the historic Mill Yard, next to Cotton Restaurant). Seating for this luncheon will begin at 11:45, with Congresswoman Shea-Porter's remarks beginning at approximately 12:30.

Note: Invitations have been also been extended, via the NH Republican State Committee, to provide the Republican candidates for these seats an opportunity to speak to the World Affairs Council following the Republican primary in the fall.

Feel free to forward this information to others you think may be interested. If you plan to attend one or both of these events, please RSVP using the attached flyer(s), by emailing council at wacnh.org, or by calling 603-314-7970.

Founded in 1954, the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire is the state's only non-profit, non-partisan, statewide organization whose mission it is to foster learning, discussion, and citizen involvement in world affairs by providing programs on foreign affairs for the public, and by enriching international education for students in our schools. WACNH is one of 87 councils that belong to the World Affairs Councils of America. WACNH receives its financial support from memberships, program fees, annual fund donations and grants from corporations and foundations.

To learn more about us, please visit www.wacnh.org. To request membership information, e-mail council at wacnh.org or call 603-314-7970.
