Hi folks, I revised this to see if it fits better. I not only took out any reference to a specific business, but omitted the signature, so that you can fill in your own, and I restructured a couple of sentences.
By the way Trish, I couldn't open the file that you sent, so I am not sure how you revised it, but let me know if this is better.
I will give Gil a little time to catch up with emails too, and then I encourage all of you to tell me what other changes may work.
We will not send it out now until we have made it the way we want it to look, especially representing our org.
Also, I noticed that the last few postings regarding this was going out to the general discussion list and I would prefer for now that it remain an NFB project. So please only reply to this email involving the board and the students.
Thanks..Marie
* Dear friends of the NFB OF NH:
Each year for our state convention, we print an annual convention program book and offer advertisement space to local businesses and residents. The profit from these ads will assist our organization in providing scholarships to the blind in the state of New Hampshire.
We are writing to ask if you would be interested in purchaseing a $5.00 ad in our program book or, if you prefer, larger ads are available to showcase your specialty business card or logo! (See ad information below).
By placing an ad in our Convention Program Book, you will help the NFB-NH:
* Provide scholarships to blind students.
* Provide outreach, peer support and mentoring.
* Provide resources and contact information to those who have recently experienced vision loss and their families.
* Bring important speakers, presentations and NH resources to our state convention.
* Provide resources and contact information to all business professionals, State Agencies, Lions Clubs and other interested organizations.
Program Book Description: First Five Pages will be NFB Organization Information. Centerfold will be Conference Agenda. Remaining Portion of Program Book will contain advertisements. Program Book will be 8-1/2" by 5-1/2".
* Full Page Ad $75.00
* 2/3 Page Ad $50.00
* 1/3 Page Ad $25.00
* Presidential Club $20.00 (name, address, &phone)
* Gold Booster Club $15.00 (name and address)
* Silver Booster Club $5.00 (name only)
* Page Choice (if available) $100.00.
Please contact Lucille Lynch to see if page you want is available.
Deadline for forms is: August 1, 2008
We need your support!
Remember! Advertising is a deductible business expense! The NFB-NH is a 501(c) (3) organization.
The National Federation of the Blind of New Hampshire (NFB-NH), which is a state affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind, has served the blind and visually impaired in New Hampshire for 50 years!
Thank you for considering placing an advertisement in our Program Book. If you have any questions about the Program Book or our organization, please call Program Book Coordinator Lucille Lynch at (603) 627-7965.
