Dear fellow Federationists, list participants, and other interested parties:

This is to formally announce that you are invited to participate in our Team NH NFB movement for this years NHAB Walk scheduled for Saturday May 31st, 2008. Our team is registered, has a name, a Team Captain, and now the opportunity for you to join in on this years exciting team event to take part in a fun filled day of activities to support the New Hampshire Association For The Blind in this annual walk. Information is listed below, and your participation will make this years efforts a truly great success, and strengthen the New Hampshire National Federation of the Blind State Affiliate outreach.
In doing so the board of the NH NFB has voted to dedicate this years team event in memory of past president, and long time Federationist John Parker who passed away in January of this year. John attended many NHAB Walk A Thons, and would be most proud of our intent for this years team event. we ask in support of this memory that you bring that cheerful smile, and attitude that would have been John's spirit to assist with our team.
Gil vickery is your Team Captain, and will now be providing the outreach to you as a team member to get you the registration that each individual will need to become a member of our team. Even is you don't want to walk you can still enjoy the activities, and cheer your teammates on as they complete this years walking trail. Our goal is to have 25 members or so participate on our team, but we can't do this without you so please let Gil know of your interests by sending an Email to citizen at ncia.net or calling (603) 616-6145. A packet will then be sent to you so that you can register, and have your T-shirt waiting upon your arrival the day of the walk. we will be also providing support in the areas of what to prepare for, proper walking shoes, and sharing in our team efforts to make this event a year to remember.
The team name so everyone is clear is:
Team NH NFB "We Talk The Talk, And Walk The Walk."
this will be on our T-shirts that you will receive once you register. So let's go, and join our team today...
Here is the rest of the information provided by NHAB. Thank you all so very much...
