* Ensuring Websites Are Accessible To Everyone

The Accessible World News Wire: February 6, 2008 Indianapolis, Indiana USA
Probably the most talked about topic among computer users of assistive devices is the inaccessibility of many websites. Unfortunately, for most the talk
is just that: Talk. During the upcoming Accessible World Tek Talk online event, however, you will have the privilege of meeting a technology expert who
has done much more than talk about the problem. He has developed core technology and led the development of InFocus(tm), the industry's first commercial
software for testing Web accessibility.

Tim Springer, co-founder of SSB Bart Group and the chief architect of the Accessibility Management Platform and SSB's proprietary accessibility assessment
methodology, will provide an overview of the issues that are involved in ensuring web accessibility. This will include relevant national and international
legislation, common Accessibility issues on the Web today, an Overview of SSB BART Group, and methods for determining the accessibility of a web site.

Contact SSB Bart Group Email: tim.springer at ssbbartgroup.com

Following the presentation, the virtual audience can ask more specific questions about issues relating to ensuring the accessibility of web based interfaces
to users with disabilities.
