Igloo and I took a walk yesterday with my Audubon chapter in a local
half-wild park. It was great!
I sprayed Igloo with some cedar oil before we went, but a couple ticks still
jumped on him. The people I was with saw the ticks, so I swiped one off and
someone else swiped off the other. Igloo also got his anti-tick pill
yesterday.
Is there any way to keep ticks from jumping on him, when we go again?
Igloo did a great job when we came back to the parking lot. The people I'd
been following took off for their car, and I thought it would be easier for
Uber to find me if I was near a building. I knew there was one somewhere
nearby, so I told Igloo "Inside". He trotted off, and, after maybe a couple
hundred yards, he turned, headed across the lot, and there was the building
entrance. I was so proud of him for finding it from so far away. Can't get
a cane to do that.
