[nagdu] guide dog question for a 7 year old girl

Oh no, that is way way too young Imo.  You have to be emotionally 
and physically ready to take on the responsibility of a guide 
dog.  She probably can't take care of herself that good, let 
alone a guide dog.  7 isn't old enough to understand about how 
serious it is to have a guide dog and keep them on a strict diet 
and give them boundaries.  I thought I was ready for one at 9 
years old, but there's no way I would've been able to take on 
that responsibility at that age.

A friend wants to know if there are any dog guide schools who 
will train a blind 7 year girl.  She uses her white cane very 
well.  I told that I thought the girl was too young.  Please give 
me your advice.
