[NABS-L] Guide Dog Questions for High School or College Students

Hello everyone,

I hope that this message finds you well and that everyone is having a great Tuesday so far! 
I am starting to look into possibly getting a guide dog either before I start college or while I am in college, and I had a few questions regarding any high school or college student who has had experience as a guide dog user. What are the pros and cons of having a guide dog versus being a cane traveler? Have you had an easier experience navigating with a guide dog versus a cane on a college campus? What was the application process like to receive a guide dog? How did you make the decision to choose a certain guide dog school?
