Want to take a walk down memory lane? Want to learn more about self-advocacy and your rights in a creative setting? Then join the NABS Advocacy committee next Wednesday, November 20th from 8PM Eastern to hear a re-run of the infamous mock trial that occurred during the 2024 Mid-Atlantic seminar. 

Here is a short description of the case that you all will be hearing more about: 
Case Summary: Clint Clinton is a blind Sports Journalism student at the prestigious Leonard Farkwad University, who swam competitively and got good grades, until the summer of 2023. She took a course for her major, but the disability office never sent her accommodation letter. She emailed the professor about her blindness and asked about accommodations, but was reassured that everything would be fine. And it was, until   it came time to take a hard-copy final exam. She’s now suing the university alleging her exam grade caused her to lose her scholarship.
