[NABS-L] Keeping up with CABS

What's up, students?

It's another edition of Keeping Up with CABS, brought to you by your
friendly neighborhood couch potato. We've got two events coming up.

This Saturday, you can join us for a super chill study night,
beginning at 7:00 Pacific. We'll have some relaxing instrumental music
and light conversation, if desired. You don't have to be from or in

And, it's sexy September! We're working hard to bring you a safe,
comfortable environment to have a discussion around sex as a blind
person. We will of course talk about consent, but we also want to have
a space where we can talk honestly about those questions that you
might feel awkward about asking in other places. We're starting with
an anonymous Google form, which can be found here:

The NFB of California scholarships are now open! They will be
presented at our state convention October 21-24, 2021. Applications
are due on October 9th, so be sure to get yours in. There are special
opportunities for students interested in Science, Technology,
Engineering, Arts, and mathematics (STEAM), and for those interested
in doing internships involving public policy and civic engagement.
