Hi Nefertiti,

I am Lisa Hall, President of National Association of Blind Office
Professionals, a Division of National Federation of the Blind.
Welcome to this list. Whether you learn about medical transcription or want
to improve your braille skills, this is why we are here. With good braille
skills, you can be more employable than anyone who doesn't have the skills
of reading and writing braille. I am a braille Proofreader for Clovernook
Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Cincinnati, Ohio and also a
certified Literary Braille Transcriber by the National Library Service for
the Blind and Physically Handicapped. I was the first blind student to go
through Northwest Vista College's Textbook Braille Transcriber Program while
living in San Antonio, Texas. I have been living in Cincinnati, Ohio for a
little over a year and I really like it here.
IF you have questions or concerns, please post to the list and I am sure
someone on this list will respond.
Welcome to the list.

Lisa Hall, President since 1996
National Association of Blind Office Professionals (NABOP), a Division of
National Federation of the Blind

Greetings list,

You have a 22-year-old female living in New York City who is very much
interested in learning all about the Medical Transcription field. It is a
pleasure to be on this list and I look forward to getting to know you and
your profession better.

NMO
