Hi everybody!

I think I got a little lost with the messages because first I read about someone wanting a recommendation for audio editing software for a podcast, but then I read about tuners so… In any case, I’m studying audio edition at the Miami Lighthouse. I’m learning how to use a software name pro tools. For something basic ass editing, audio for podcasts, the software may be pretty good and it’s accessible through VoiceOver. However, I only recommend to use the software on an iMac.

Garage Band doesn't seem very accessible, but I don't have much experience with it. I am a apple user Ipad and Iphone. I am trying to find the best option for editting audio files for a podcast I am creating. I am recording using Voice Memos. I want to delete the end of the audio that has voiceover talking as I end the recording and maybe add intro and outro music, but want the most accessible option or app. Thank you.

I am a tin whistle player myself, and I’d be really delighted to get some. Would you like to send the BRF files to my e-mail, alexandrucozaciuc at gmail.com, please?

From what I’ve experienced so far (I admit I haven’t put so much time into these two apps), the most you can do is choose a note the app will play continuously, then try to tune the string according to the reference tone.

You instantiate it on the input FX chain (last item in the context menu in REAPER), focus the plug-in’s UI (REAPER, again, that’s done by pressing F6), and your screen reader will basically tell you whether the note is in tune or how sharp or flat it is. See the download link below.
