[MusicTlk] Decent accessible tuner for harp

Hi Tracy,

After you tap on “Tuner”, you should be able to find a button called
“Tuning fork” which, once activated, will generate a tone you can change
afterwards if needed. However, this seems similar to your physical
tuner, which I’m afraid is not what you’re looking for…

On another note, in your first message, if I’m not wrong, you mentioned
that you’ve got braille music scores for tin whistle/harp. I am a tin
whistle player myself, and I’d be really delighted to get some. Would
you like to send the BRF files to my e-mail,
alexandrucozaciuc at gmail.com, please?

Thank you,

Alex

From what I’ve experienced so far (I admit I haven’t put so much time into these two apps), the most you can do is choose a note the app will play continuously, then try to tune the string according to the reference tone.

You instantiate it on the input FX chain (last item in the context menu in REAPER), focus the plug-in’s UI (REAPER, again, that’s done by pressing F6), and your screen reader will basically tell you whether the note is in tune or how sharp or flat it is. See the download link below.
