Hi,

There is an app for the iPhone called Amazing Slowdowner which might help.
It costs something.  I cannot remember the price.  I know blind people who
have learned to use it.  I myself have not yet taken the time to play with
it enough to be helpful to anyone else yet.

Wow Tara, that is what I call dedication and wanting to play when you have
to go to those efforts.  I'm not going to say "you're amazing" or anything
like that.  No, you're just determined.  I understand about having to learn
music using alternate methods.  I do that too when playing piano and guitar.
I guess we just have to figure out what works for us and then just do it
that way.

I'm just curious.  Are you a totally blind flute player?  Would magnified
music help you, or do you just have to learn things by ear?

Hey all! I am learning a flute piece by ear. Unfortunately, I can't get a
copy of the music for my flute teacher to record it in time for the
performance. I've got quite a bit of it figured out but there are some runs
that I just can't quite figure out. Is there a way to take the YouTube video
in slow it down a lot? What I did is I recorded the YouTube video onto my
victor stream and slowed that down but it isn't "slow enough. Any ideas or
help would be so incredibly welcome! If anyone can give me some help please
feel free to private message me. Thanks!
