Hi.  I'd recommend looking at the Focusrite Saffire firewire
interfaces.  The preamps are really good, the control panel is
accessible via hot spot clicker, and, you get a sweit of effects plug
ins for mac and pc with any of the interfaces.  Also, if you do make
the switch to a mac at some point, the firewire Saffire interfaces
will work with pro tools, logic, etc.

Check out the pro 24, pro 40, and, the liquid 56.
