I'm not the best authority, but I am producing and recording, but I do it in 
stages.  My CD project that I have now went through a few bad mixes before I 
could get to what is saleable.  I am in the process of deciding what type of 
keyboard I want to use to replace my 100-year-old piano (in 2010), but have 
not made a clear-cut decision.  I think I might go to a Roland PF7 and 
Cakewalk.  However, nothing is in stone yet.
