Hi, Linda,
If I remember my music theory correctly, isn't monody the opposite of
polyphony. That is, unison singing as opposed to vocal parts?
Just guessing from a dim memory. (smile)

Bill

Hi listers,
I hope that some of you can help. I read through his questions with a
braille display. I'm not familiar with monody or odium. Are they Greek
terms, or what? Anyone know? I'll work on his questions in another
message! Smile.
Blessings,
Linda
