Hi all. Debra Baxley sent this to the NAPUB list because she's
bouncing on this one. Maybe someone here has answers, but that would
not be me! Smile. Read on!!
Interesting idea.
Tell me more about how a blind piano player reads musical notes on and off
the Internet.
Is there a way that musical notes can be read by a Internet screen reader
like Jaws?
Since the lessons graphics are images of notes, what technology is available
for images of notes to be recognized as musical notes? Is there a musical
font
that either screen reader or Internet browser software recognize and trigger
a sound representing the note value?
Are there currently software courses for blind people to learn how to play
the piano without an instructor present at the lesson? If so, how do they
work.
Does an electronic piano have to be connected to the software or to a
computer that runs the software?
Let me know.
Thanks
Clint

How can I make the exam graphics and lesson graphics of notes, etc.
accessible to me, as a totally blind person? This course would be a great
review course.
