[musictlk] I'm new one in the country and I'm a musician

Hi everyone,
 My name is Tatyana, I recently subscribed for that list and I would like to 
introduce my selve.

I'm blind,  lived in the states for two and half years. I'm from Russia and 
I grew up in Siberia. I play guitar since I was 16, living in Russia, I have 
been writing songs and it was the best part of my life back home. I wrote 
songs and sometimes I was singing and playing my guitar on  local rock- 
accustic stages.I did not have a band, just was doing everything   myself 
and existed as I was.

My life was changed when I moved in US. It was very different and of cause, 
I couldn't feel the same emotionally. So, I left  playing guitar on being 
time.

I  don't believe that it's gone forever. I want to start it again and to 
woke up my soul.

I'm in double complicated situation- I'm blind and I'm foreigner, so, I have 
all that common problems related to blindness and other hand, I'm not aware 
of many things here, know any one from musicians just to communicate and  to 
jam session together.

My English is not well so far and all my songs, of cause, in Russian 
language. By now, I could try just write melodies and play guitar and lyric 
part in English would be for someone else.

I'm just wondering, is someone who live in Central New- Jersey, around 
Westfield?

I don't know Braille notes system, I'm learning English Braille 
contractions.

Is any possibilities to take  guitar courses and get a some certificate 
without knowing Braille notes?
Should I have any musical education diploma if I would be going to teach 
playing guitar in some musical center?

Any advises?
