hello michael -

in order to follow thru with something like that,  you would have to be examined by the courts,  not your parents.  nothing about this sounds legal.  it seems more controling than anything else.  you would have to undergo a mental competency exam on both sides and a judge would make a decision from there.  we don't know each other but you sound fine to me.   and  even tho this is easier said than done,  as a musician i recommend you lean on your art.  your music.  let your talent and creativity help you work thru this emotionally.
and find an attorney as soon as possible.
