I agree with everything you and Cindy Lou said.  Despite pressure for
many people, including rehab teachers, I did not attend college after
high school.  Instead, I went to a clerical skills training program at a
center for the blind.  Then I worked for that center, then a very stint
as a medial transcriptionist before attending college.  If I would have
went to college right out of high school, I'd probably been among the
high percentage of consumers that counselors quote that drop out.  That
will do no one any favors.  This young lady should be allowed to make
her own decisions.  After all, it will be her life that will be
affected, not tanyone else's.
