Hi, Kevin,
Dancing Dots has just published a new book from Richard Taesch, author of
our braille music courses, entitled: "Jazz and Contemporary Chord Symbol
Reading for the Blind Pianist: How to Read Braille Chord Charts in Live
Performance".
It seems to me that this book could at least be a good starting point for
developing the kind of standard you're considering.

My goal is to see if there already is a standard for writing pop/rock chord
charts, as well as the Nashville number system. If not, I want to colaborate
with some folks to see if we can develop an ifficient standard for blind
players to learn tunes for stage and studio.
