This is just a gentle reminder that when you place someone's e-mail address in a note to the list as in the note below, you are opening that person up to additional spam.  
If this person is already on public lists, it won't matter, but if she guards her address, it would be best to send it directly to the intended person.

While I am on this subject, this can also apply to people one copies on a note to the list.  Maybe they wouldn't care, but it is generally a good idea not to put someone's 
e-mail address in a message or in the "to:" or "CC:" fields on messages going to public lists unless you know for certain that they won't mind.  Remember that you can 
always put addresses in the "BCC: " field and they won't show up and it takes only a little extra time., In particular, spammers like to look at lists and list archives for new 
addresses, and they are more likely to find them in e-mail than in an on-line magazine article.
