[Mt-blind] Something to think about

I'm the secretary of our chapter.  So all the notes are taken with my note
taker or slate and stylus.  It's not a big deal to convert to text and print
after that.

Hi, this is Dar,
I have a question on voting with in chapters.
And wonder if this has been thought of before now.
Our chapter district five, each year decides on a new President and on down.
Vice President as well as Secretary.
The treasurer seems to stay the same at least here.
Unless someone gets brave enough to wish to spend money smile.
My question is this.
The Secretary we have now is sighted,
we also have a lady who is sighted thinking of becoming secretary.
I love seeing new folks coming to the chapter, and especially sighted.
As we learn together how to work with each other.
Do any of the chapters have a disk from the secretary text only version of 
the years notes taken from the meetings that take place by monthly?
If so, has this worked out well for you?
I ask, because being a total and knowing that notes are in print, I for one 
am feeling that since this is  a blind organization, we should have a back 
up, just encase the secretary can't be secretary any more.
If the disk is text only, then any note taker or computer can read the 
information given.
If this hasn't happened before,
what do I need to do, to be sure this is one of the topics covered in the 
state convention?
So that it is a requirement for sighted secretaries to be sure that the 
totals have a record?
I know that it is by law we must have print, and for this I agree,
but I don't wish to be left out with out back up.
