Greetings,
        This and the many posts which precedded and followed it are most
enlightening.
        I remember John Ford reporting on this when he got back from that
years NFB convention.  As I recollect, they requested each affiliate sign
new charters so they could have them on display at the national center
and that he, John Ford, was the delegate for the MAB that year.
        The vote referred to in Bernices message of the Observor was
about a 2 to 1 majority.
        Like so many others have stated, this is great historical
"fodder" for us.
