[Mt-blind] Our Vendors' Bill

The bill in the state legislature that removes barriers in state law  on
commercial activities on Interstate  rest areas, and thus opens these sites
up for blind vendors to operate there, was heard last Wednesday in the
Senate Administration committee.  It immediately passed out of committee
unanimously.

Carl Schweitzer called me yesterday to say that it passed on 2nd reading on
the floor of the Senate 49-1.  It has one more reading in the Senate, and it
looks like it will sail through.

The bill passed the House earlier in the session.  So, if it passes the
Senate, it goes to the Governor for  his signature.
