[Mt-blind] NFB Convention and 2008 MAB Calendars

Thanks, Jerry, for asking if anyone would like to sell calendars at the NFB
Convention.  The trouble with this is that our calendars are designed for
the sighted, not blind people.  It's doubtful we would have much luck
selling them at a convention of the blind.  The other thing is that the
Board has agreed to sell High Country jerky and meat sticks at the NFB
Convention.  Pretty much, sighted and blind people alike have to eat, and we
hope to raise funds for the MAB with these sales.  The Missoula Chapter of
the MAB/NFB would very much appreciate getting some calendars to sell
locally, though.  I will contact you privately to arrange for Chapter
calendar sales.  I hope other chapters and individual members do the same.
One of these days, I hope Missoula will earn the right to stand in the
shadow of calendar sales experts like those in Butte and Great Falls.  We
have a long way to go, but Missoula hopes to step up its calendar sales just
the same.  Thanks!

If you are going to the NFB Convention in Atlanta and would like to take 
some MAB 2008 calendars with you to the convention to sell, please 
contact me and I'll get any number of calendars to you before you leave 
Montana.

Prices of the calendars are the same as last year, $ 3.00 per calendar 
and your chapter may keep $ .75 for your chapter or any other MAB 
project that you would wish to donate to.

All money raised by the sale of the calendars needs to be sent to me 
here in Helena at my home  address (listed on the back of the calendar) 
and I will credit your chapter with the sales and hand carry your check 
to the Helena office of the MAB on the same day that I receive it in the 
mail.

Take a bunch of calendars to Atlanta and showcase our State organization !

Have a great time in "hot Atlanta".
