I wonder what would be involved in getting the topic of white cane safety 
included in the driver's training manual or courses, and having a mandatory 
question concerning white cane safety on the driver's training test.

A DVD might be useful for raising the awareness of police officers and other 
public servants regarding the purpose of white canes or guide dogs, and for 
promoting the safety of pedestrians as well as motorists.
