[Mt-blind] VOTING MACHINES

Hello!

I think we have good machines here in Montana or should I say Yellowstone
County. Yes, it takes time to get a new system up and running! I wouldn't
throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak. Perhaps one day these
machines could be smaller but still be ruggedly made. They could be taken
more easily to groups to demo how they work. I think we should work with
and keep what we have! It is wonderful to actually have a secret ballot.

Dan, feel free to use any of my comments at any time.

Jim Aldrich

Hi there,
I would keep what we are using.
We can't let anything become an excuse for us not to keep voting.
If machines need to be fixed so be it.
It wouldn't be the first machine that broke.
We know that nothing was on the machine while we were voting.
The votes went threw and were counted with the rest when counting was being
added up for the day.
I am not sure why this article is so important.
At first, the first time, the machine didn't do the whole ballad.
But the second time it worked like a charm.
Keep encouraging blind folks to vote.
It is a step that is a thrill the first time it happens.
