Congrats on another great Camp Eureka! The thing I observe that is most
positive about the Camp is that it creates a superb opportunity to change
what it means to be blind. Getting blind and visually impaired children to
think positively about blindness is so huge, words do not adequately
describe the discovery. If even one child stops and says, "Wait a minute...
I can do this!," then the camp is a raging success. However, I'll bet there
are 12 kids who raise their sights just a little bit higher for themselves
in just about everything they do. Now that's what a camp for blind and
visually impaired kids ought do and what Camp Eureka does. Thanks much to
everyone who helped out!
