The Business Enterprise Program (Randolph-Sheppard) of Minnesota
Services for the Blind is currently hiring the Supervisor
position. The current Supervisor will not retire until July
2008. However, the position is being filled immediately to provide
the training time required to facilitate a smooth transition and
maintain quality of services in this critical program. The vacancy

$ 22.58 - $ 32.92 hourly, $ 47,147 - $ 68,737 annually
Job Duties: Provide leadership and supervision to the statewide
Business Enterprises Program for the Blind, in accordance with the
provisions of state and federal laws and rules, department and
program policies.
Responsible for all financial aspects, including budget, the
management of four revolving funds, the purchase and disposition of
all vending equipment, insurance and fringe benefit, and any other
aspects related to financial management.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Marketing or closely related field.
At least 2 years supervisory experience. Experience must include
staff supervision, fiscal management, program development and budget
development.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration
or closely related field.
Supervisory experience in a Business Enterprise Program.
Direct knowledge of/experience in the vending industry preferred.
Knowledge/experience with small retail operations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated program leadership skills, including the ability to
effectively prioritize a large and multi-faceted workload.
Self-motivated, independent, creative, innovative, persistent and responsible.
Great problem solving ability
Knowledge of Word and Excel
Ability to work with people with varied skills, abilities and personalities.
Experience working with individuals who are blind, visually impaired
or DeafBlind.
