[Mabs] Goal Ball Tournament

Dear students and interested athletes:

    On Saturday, July 1 the Texas Association of Blind Students has planned 
a goal ball tournament, to last tentatively some time between 12:00 and 6:00 
PM.  We are still looking for teams and individuals interested in 
participating.  The event is not limited to students.  Registration fees are 
nominal, and all equipment is being provided.  We are simply counting on 
your willingness to come out and have a good time.

    Our venue of choice, the health club located on the hotel grounds, would 
be the most ideal, but it is also very expensive.  To move to the point, I 
am not willing to hit up our treasury unless we can generate sufficient 
interest to justify the expense, so if you, ore anyone you know, is 
interested in participating, please let me know within the next week so that 
we may lay down the final team plans, make reservations and pursue 
donations.

    Faith Penn is coordinating the event, but as she is currently without 
Internet access, please e-mail me at your earliest convenience so that I may 
work out the details for her attention when she returns.  You may also call

planning on a great tournament and want to see you there to compete for the 
first convention championship!
