This summer the NFB of Missouri will be sending an Outreach Team to several parts of our state to tell interested persons about the Federation and programs that blind Missourians could benefit from. In addition, we need to find prospective members who are interested in the work we do and in reaching out to help others in their community.

To accomplish this goal, we need volunteers who will give one or two weeks of their summer to help us reach out to others. This would be a great opportunity for any member who wants to give back to our organization or get more involved in the work we do. While everyone is welcome, we particularly could use some help from some of our students. Please consider joining our outreach team for a short time this summer.

I hope that most of you who read this message will consider what you can do for our Missouri affiliate in regards to our outreach efforts. Don't assume that others will do it and that you are not needed. I guarantee that we need you!
