Hello everyone,

The Sports and Recreation Division has been working hard to coordinate a
cycling event during convention the evening of Wednesday, July 5. Below,
and attached, you will find the registration form to get signed up for the
event. For more details, please contact the division president, Lisamaria
Martinez, at:

I believe many of you have already contacted her expressing interest.
If possible, please e-mail her again with your completed form to keep things
running smoothly on everyone's end. Have fun and happy cycling!

          Regards,

          Joe Orozco

White Rock Lake - A bus will pick you up at the hotel and transport you to
the Lake.

We look forward to our joint bicycle ride. Please furnish the following
information so that we can be as organized as possible:

NAME:

ADDRESS:

CITY, STATE, ZIP CODE

E-MAIL ADDRESS:

RIDING DISTANCE PREFERRED:

A full lap of the lake is 10 miles. You can tell us how far you want to go
in portions of a lap, or in miles, if you want to do less than a lap.

EXPERIENCE:

This ride will cater to riders of ALL experience levels - even no
experience. (All of the Captains will be experienced tandem riders!) For
planning, how
many times have you ridden a tandem in the past?

What distances?

HEIGHT:

This is to match you to a tandem that will fit you the best.

HELMET:

Will you be bringing your own helmet, or do we need to have one for you?
Helmets are required on the ride.

SHOES / PEDALS:

Do you have special cycling shoes with cleats, or will you be wearing normal
tennis shoes, etc.? If you have special shoes, let us know what type they
are
so we can have the correct pedals available. If you want to bring you own,
we will put them on for you! We assume most will be in tennis shoes, and we
will have normal block pedals with and without toe clips available. If you
don't want pedals with toe clips, let us know.

LIABILITY WAIVER:

Based on the club insurance, you will be required to sign or otherwise
attest to a liability waiver. We will have them at the start, or we can send
you
one by e-mail.

Thanks,

Warren
