Donna, depending on the publication, they can
either sent you a check with your real name or in
the name of your pseudonym. Probably the best
thing to do is file a DBA (doing business as).
There's a fee and it must be published in a
newspaper and or filed with the state. Once you
have the DBA you can then take that too a bank
and add the name to your existing account or open
a new one with just that name. In effect you're
starting a little business.
