Hello to all!
I have been out of town in New Orleans for several days, and am just catching up on my EMail. I wanted to respond to Antonio's question about women and their acomplishments. He asked if we should expect less from a female in the work place. I believe that there is no difference in the abilities of a male or female. When I said Jean Parker's accomplishments in India were more remarkable because she was female, I was refering to the obvious social separation. In the Indian society they have up until recently had many constraints on the freedoms and liberties of women. They were not even aloud to hold jobs outside the home. I believe there is no room in this day and age for practices like these. Everyone, (regardless of gender) has the right to be successful in wich ever field they wish to pursue. This is a little off topic, however I wanted to make thisobservation.
I have contacted 3 of my Arizona representitives in Congress regarding talking book funding, however it appears they have taken no action at my request. I will keep lobbying them and others, hopefully it produces some results.
