[Journalists] helping sighted understand

			I've been weighing in way too much lately, 
but I just have to add a snarky comment here. I tell this because 
both the people involved are deceased.

Apparently, when it was learned the Daily News' new reporter was 
blind and would have a guide dog, our then-publisher, according to 
our then-editor, was concerned about how the dog would relieve 
itself. My then-editor said something like, "Well, he could always 
come to your house."
