Hi Jennifer, and all,

Speaking of blogs, Jennifer, do you have a blog?
What's the address, if so? Anyone else? I'd be
interested to know of the outlets y'all use to write.
What I mean is, whether you're working a 9-5 journalism
job right now or not, most writer's I'm aware of have
more of a passion than only to write a little here and
there for their jobs. How do each of you express and
expel your need to write, to create, to express? For
example, Jennifer, your e-mail has the word, 'art,' in
it. Do you create in other ways, or is your writing
the art you speak of?

Me, I use e-mail a lot to share ideas and thoughts, and
resources. I also write articles, and poems, and some
songs. I have something like 250 half-finished
articles on my harddrive, that one day will hopefully,
each, give me a byline to add to my credits. I have
nearly 200 poems I've writtne over the last decade or
so. A few of them even worth sharing (smile). I have
a few dozen songs that I may one day try to sell or
publish or make demos for. I have a couple of column
ideas and plan on writing a column or two, soon. I
also have a couple of poetry blogs, though they're in
bad need of updating at the moment. And I'm working on
a book, a work of fiction. NaNoWriMo
(www.nanowrimo.org) has helped spur me on towards
writing more fiction, thankfully.

How about you, here? Who has a blog? Who besides me
is an e-mail addict? Who journals more than anything
else, to help release their craving, their need to
write? And which of us here, if anyone, simply writes
what they need to for their job, comes home, and is
glad to not have to write anything in their personal
time? (smile)

Lastly, who here actually *is* working right now,
getting paid at a job for writing or editing? I know
this was discussed not so long ago, but in a crash, I
lost everything I had in my Outlook Express program,
which was that complete thread. So any mention, again,
of who is actually getting paid to write, would be
appreciated. I am definitely interested.

Thanks,
Everett

> Thanks for the article. Looks like that software
could soon be in hot demand. Bloggers call the
unauthorized copying and pasting of large chunkcs of
their content "sweeping." It happens quite a bit, but
this new software they're talking about is most
critical for Big Daddy publishers right now, I'd say.
