I think you cannot please everyone all the time.   Whether the article quoted 
is accepted by the blind will depend on experience and sense of humor.   Some 
take blindness quite seriously.   Others maintain a light-hearted approach.   
I doubt very much anyone will believe a hotel room could be quite large 
enough so that a person could not find his bed, blind or sighted.
