[Journalists] my rough draft

What is TWF? Is he going to remember what it is, or meeting you?? People
lose track of who they meet where without a specific jog for memory.
Tighten up the request:
"Would you consent to an interview about DA..."
Don't waste his time with too many words. Say what you need to say
succinctly. Good draft!
Good luck!
Annemarie
PS tell him which college you're in.

Subject: [Journalists] my rough draft

Obviously I'm going to fill in all of my personal info and the name of
the person. But I wanted to post what I have so far, and see if any of
you have any revisions or tips for the letter and/or the questions? I
feel as though some of my paragraphs in the letter are too short,
especialy the intro paragraph. and I think my questions aren't organized
very well.

  thanks in advance,
  Kristina

  Dear Mr. last name,

It was lovely being able to meet you at the TWF in March.
I'm including a few photos that were taken at the event, in case you
might remember me. Thank you for the CD's and postcard you sent
recently.
I'm working on shooting a documentary for my Broadcast
Journalism 401 class. Since my interest is to become an entertainment
reporter, I am creating a documentary in which I interview celebrities.
I would like to use this opportunity to extend a formal request to
invite you to take part in an interview. For the interview I am
interested in finding out about your involvement in the recent
documentary DA, as well as your own published experience with interview
celebrities. With this request I am also including a list of possible
questions, however the conversation could work itself around to other
questions.
If you are interested in setting up an interview or have
any questions, please contact me using any of the included methods of
contact.

  Sincerely,

    KA

  Questions:
How did you get involved in the documentary?
  What is the documentary about?
  Was it a formal interview?
Why did you want to be a part of the documentary?
Have you ever filmed a documentary?
Are you a fan of documentaries?
What subjects would you be interested in filming a documentary on?
What career advice would you give me?
  What experience should I get?
What publications have you submitted your conducted interviews to?
