Oh, thanks...you inadvertently reminded me, the legislation I was talking
about is s.558, the Mental Health Parity Act of 2007.

New York recently passed Timothy's Law, which addresses this issue.   Might 
be a good thing to research.  A young man committed suicide because  he
couldn't get his health insurance to pay for his mental health  treatment.
The National Association of Social Workers (NY chapter) worked  to get this
law passed--not alone, I'm sure--and it recently has been, so that  health
insurance can address this issue in New York.
