Allan, if NEis like NJ, each state agency has a press office. You should have a NE state Dept. of Insurance with its own PIO. Call them and see what you find.

Subject: [Journalists] Need help finding information for a story.

Hi everyone,
In talking to the person who is the focus of an article I am working on, I
wound up trying to do some research on a piece of legislation (here in
Nebraska( that would create a parity between what insurance companies charge
patients with physical illnesses and what they charge patients with mental
illnesses. As it stands, mental patients don't have access to adequate
insurance/health care.

All I could find, though, were huge PDF files. Is there a more accessible
way to accomplish this?
