		Lori,

Thanks for your camera-related suggestions.

A few years ago, my photo editor (no longer with our company) gave me
a camera when I went on vacation to Taiwan to visit a friend. He
wanted me to capture photos as best I could, with the idea that here
are the perceptions of a person who is blind. My friend couldn't
abide all this, and railed about how terrible it was to make fun of
me like that. I thought the whole thing was great fun, but I once
tried to take a photo of a bunch of people performing some dance or
song or something, and the photo was not useful. Which is not to say
I didn't have some great laughs, but i stopped taking pictures
because I wondered if maybe nothing would turn out. It's worse than
the old days of typewriters, you know?

Now, I wish somebody would give me some informal training, just for
fun, and i could see what happened. (Our photo department would
never, never allow me to take a picture! LOL)

Keep in mind, this is all just fun stuff .
