Thanks. I don't have a lot of work for journalism classes as the 101 class
I'm taking is my first one. I have one paper I wrote, but that's it, in
terms of my journalism class.
I did write an article for an online magazine, but may have to cut it down,
or give only part as I suspect it's more than 500 words.

Dear Alan,
Start with articles you've already written for journalism class projects. If
you must write something new, keep it short, under 500 words.
Three to five samples of various kinds of articles. I have a huge clip book
with copies of my best work in a pocket. My best work runs from features to
informational pieces to general news.
If you get an interview, make yourself a book of all your projects and
articles and bring that with you.
Good Luck.
