That is a good point.
I usually tell someone that if you go to an NFB Center, that its their
choice.
I also tell them that their program is what they make it.
I know so many graduates that blame the center.
I usually think to myself what did you do in the center with your
program.

It is worth saying that  an NFB center is not a cure all, and though
it's a 
great way of meeting positive blind people and networking and gaining 
skills,  it's probably not the only of doing so. it's  a commitment
that not 
many people can undertake for  many different reasons.
 Now, I'm a graduate of a NFB center and i am not saying that  an NFB
center 
would not work for some, it worked for me.
 I do believe that positive blind people are a good thing  for anyone,
and 
getting established with your local NFB Chapter might be a way to go,
or at 
least  any group of  blind people that  can reinforce the positive
energy 
that this person clearly has.
