The WorkForce Development Unit of Minnesota State Services for the
Blind is recruiting for a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. This
position is based in St. Paul and is open to all qualified job
seekers. 

Job Duties: To plan, authorize, coordinate, and deliver
individualized vocational rehabilitation services in partnership
with blind, visually impaired and DeafBlind customers, ages 14 and
older, who possess substantial impediments to employment to enable
them to achieve successful employment. This position participates in
all aspects of implementing the mission, position and purpose of the
Workforce Development Unit of the State Services for the Blind. 

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify, you must have a Master's degree
in Rehabilitation Counseling or a closely-related field (e.g.,
Rehabilitation Teaching, Employment/Placement Counseling, Counseling
and Guidance, Educational Psychology) with graduate-level coursework
in each of the following: theories and techniques of counseling;
medical/psycho-social aspects of disability; assessment; and
occupational information or job placement. 

Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language

Salary Range: $ 18.13 - $ 26.47 hourly, $ 37,855 - $ 55,269
annually
