[Jobs] Blind Business owners and Credit Cards

You will need to setup a merchant account with a bank to accept credit
cards. They usually charge a setup fee, monthly fee, and a percentage of
the transaction. Not sure how you would get the card info though, maybe a
laptop with a credit card scanner hooked to it. The customer scans the card
when you are at their place, and when you get back home, you connect the
laptop to the internet and send the info to the merchant.
Or sign up with Paypal, and let all your customers know they can pay you
via Paypal. The customer does not have to have an account with Paypal to
pay you that way anymore.

Greetings All,
I am looking into the option of taking Credit Card payments for some of my
piano-related services such as major repairs. I would be interested in
hearing from any blind business owners who currently take credit card
payments. How do you submit the customer card information?

Thanks in advance for your input.
