JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repairs and modification of complex electronic, elector-mechanical test equipment and refrigeration equipment. Services full-line vending facilities, snacks bars and cafeteria operations on a statewide basis for the BEP Department. Trains BEP staff and consumers.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma and trade experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma and two years experience of related trades or crafts area or general building maintenance.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Requires considerable knowledge of all typed of vending machines, electronic equipment, including maintenance and repair. Requires consideralbe knowledge of standard circuitry, standard electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, frequency counters, transistor testers, and logic analyzers. Must have ability to troubleshoot standard electric equipment using blueprints and schematics, distinguish colors, and to maintain spare parts inventory. Requires extensive travel statewide on a daily basis and must be able to lift approximately 100 pounds.
