LOCATION: Greenville County, South Carolina

JOB TYPE: FTE - Full-Time

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT SPECIFICS (IF ANY): Must live in Greenville County. Position is in Greenville District Office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides individualized home management instruction to consumers in their homes and other designated training locations for the vocational rehabilitation program, IDL-B consumers and independent living elderly consumers.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be submitted for the required program experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A master's degree in rehabilitation counseling and two years experience working with the blind.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Knowledge of Agency's policies and procedures and Federal and State laws as they relate to Vocational Rehabilitation. Considerable knowledge of IDL devices, methods and service skills which enable the blind and visually impaired to become independent and/or rehabilitated. Travel required two-four days per week and occasional overnight.
