LOCATION: Greenville County, South Carolina

JOB TYPE: FTE - Full-Time

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT SPECIFICS (IF ANY): Must live in Greenville County. Job location is in the Greer Office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determines eligibility/ineligibility for vocational rehabilitation services. Develops and implements individualized program of rehabilitation services for blind and visually impaired consumers in a multi-county district with the ultimate goal being successful rehabilitation and job placement into gainful employment.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs.

Additional Requirement: A master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Must have above average knowledge of State and Federal VR laws and regulations. Must be able to work one-on-one and in groups in a professional counseling/guidance format. Employee will be responsible for meeting all designated quality and productivity standards in a quality manner with minimal supervision. Job does require travel up to three days per week and occasional overnight.
